Hull
£40,000 + Overtime OTE (£50,000) + Up to 8% Pension + 33 Days Holiday + Van & Fuel Card + OTJ Training
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a globally established engineering and manufacturing business supplying specialist heavy machinery across the UK and Ireland. This role is ideal for a mechanically minded engineer looking for a varied, hands-on position with significant overtime earning potential, ongoing technical development and the opportunity to occasionally work on international projects.

As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Servicing, maintaining and repairing mechanical components including gearboxes, bearings and large industrial machinery
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and proactive servicing programmes
* Providing hands-on technical support to customers across the UK and Ireland, with occasional international travel
* Coordinating service activities with the UK-based engineering team and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
The successful Field Service Engineer should have:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Proven experience in mechanical servicing, maintenance or engineering within a heavy industrial environment
* Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel and stay away when required
* A proactive and hands-on approach with strong fault-finding and mechanical engineering skills
