About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable Field Service Technician to join their installation and maintenance team in Oxford . This hands-on role is integral to ensuring the successful deployment, setup, and ongoing operational effectiveness of equipment at various customer sites. You will be responsible for performing installations to exacting standards, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing essential maintenance services. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission equipment at customer locations, adhering to all technical specifications and project plans.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and longevity.
• Diagnose and repair technical faults or malfunctions promptly and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Conduct thorough system testing and validation post-installation or repair.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including work performed and parts used.
• Provide basic operational guidance and support to end-users as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical installation and maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanour on-site.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential, with the ability to travel throughout the Oxford region and surrounding areas.
