About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and technically proficient Field Service Technician to serve their clients in and around Oxford . This role involves traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair specialized equipment, ensuring operational continuity and customer satisfaction throughout Oxfordshire . You will be the primary technical point of contact for clients, diagnosing issues, performing necessary repairs, and providing expert advice. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys a mobile role, faces technical challenges head-on, and thrives in an environment where their work directly impacts client operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission new equipment at customer locations.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Diagnose and resolve technical faults and breakdowns efficiently.
Provide timely and effective on-site repair services.
Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
Offer basic training and support to end-users on equipment operation.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar hands-on technical role.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
A valid UK driving license and comfort traveling within Oxfordshire .
Good communication and customer service skills.
