Field Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile Field Technician to support their Installation & Maintenance operations across the Wolverhampton area. This hybrid role involves a mix of on-site troubleshooting and installation, complemented by remote support and planning activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of installed systems, responding to service calls, and providing expert technical assistance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who values flexibility and enjoys solving a variety of technical challenges in different environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on client equipment in the field.
• Conduct remote diagnostics and provide first-level support to clients.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency call-outs.
• Document all service activities, findings, and resolutions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal support teams.
• Manage a mobile inventory of parts and tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Technician or in a similar technical role.
• Knowledge of Installation & Maintenance processes and best practices.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and technology.
