• Allocatingcustomerreceipts
• Chasingoverduepaymentswhilstbuildingandmaintainingexcellentworkingrelationships
• Maintainingaccuratecustomeraccountrecords

Banking&CashManagement

• Completingdailybankreconciliations
• Postingreceiptsandpayments
• Supportingcashflowreporting
• Monitoringcompanycreditcardsandemployeeexpenses

Month-End&ManagementAccounts

• Supportingmonth-endjournalsandreconciliations
• Preparingbalancesheetreconciliations
• Assistingwithaccrualsandprepayments
• Supportingtheproductionofmonthlymanagementaccounts
• Maintainingthefixedassetregisterwhererequired

Payroll&GeneralFinance

• Supportingpayrolladministrationandpensioninformation
• Maintainingemployeefinancerecords
• AssistingwithVATreturnsandauditrequirements
• SupportingtheFinanceManagerwithadhocreportingandfinancequeries
• Providingcoverforothermembersofthefinanceteamwhenrequired

Youwillneedtohave:

• Previousexperienceinafinance/accountsrole
• Goodunderstandingofdouble-entrybookkeeping
• PurchaseandSalesledgerexperience
• ExperienceusingaccountingsoftwaresuchasSage,Xero,Quickbooksorsimilar
• Strongattentiontodetailandaccuracy
• Excellentorganisationalandcommunicationskills
• Theabilitytomanagecompetingprioritiesandmeetdeadlines
• Apositive,practicalandhands-onapproach
• Abilitytoworkautonomously

AATqualificationorstudiestowardsAATwouldbeadvantageous,aswouldpreviousexperienceinanSMEenvironment.
