About the Role
Our client, a leading organization in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. This fully remote role will provide critical financial insights and support to key business units, helping them to drive performance and achieve strategic objectives. You will work closely with department heads, offering financial expertise in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing industry, operating with considerable autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with company strategy.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing actionable insights.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case development.
- Prepare regular financial reports, management accounts, and performance reviews for various business units.
- Challenge assumptions and drive cost efficiency initiatives across the business.
- Act as a key point of contact for financial queries and provide guidance on financial best practices.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a similar commercial finance role, ideally within FMCG or a related industry.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
