About the Role
Our client is looking for a commercially astute and dynamic Finance Business Partner to support key business units from their Reading office. This strategic role involves acting as a key financial advisor, providing analysis, insights, and guidance to support business decision-making and drive financial performance. You will collaborate closely with operational managers, helping them understand financial implications and achieve their objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to transition into a highly influential business-facing role within a fast-paced and innovative organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with designated business units to provide financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting support.
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment appraisals.
- Challenge business assumptions and support the achievement of financial targets.
- Prepare management reports and presentations that clearly articulate financial performance and key drivers.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a business partnering or financial analysis role.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and ideally BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
