Operating within a project-based environment, the business delivers services across multiple sectors and is supported by a wider group structure. The UK operation is entering an exciting phase of growth and development, creating an opportunity for an experienced finance leader to join the senior management team and contribute to the ongoing success of the organisation.

Finance Director - The Role:

Reporting to both the UK CEO and Group Finance leadership, the Finance Director will lead all financial activities across the UK business. As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic financial guidance, support commercial decision-making, and ensure the delivery of accurate financial reporting. The role combines strategic influence with operational leadership, requiring a proactive individual who can drive performance, improve processes, and support long-term business growth.

Finance Director - Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all financial activities for the UK business

• Partner with the UK CEO to support strategic planning and business performance

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning processes

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting to Group Finance and senior stakeholders

• Provide financial analysis to support project performance and commercial decision-making

• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and governance standards are maintained

• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team

• Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes and reporting

Finance Director - You:

• Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

• Proven experience in a Finance Director or senior finance leadership position

• Experience operating within a group structure and managing group reporting requirements

• Strong background within a project-based, contract-led, engineering, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or similar environment

• Commercially focused with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders

• Experience partnering with CEOs and executive leadership teams

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams
