FINANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

• £555 per day via Umbrella
• Mostly remote – average 1 day per week onsite in Frimley, Surrey
• 12-month minimum contract

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is undertaking a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Finance Functional Consultant to support the delivery of key finance capabilities. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, taking ownership of a Finance workstream and supporting implementation, migration and testing activities.

THE SAP S/4HANA FINANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT ROLE:

As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant, you will play a key role within a major S/4HANA implementation, using your functional expertise to lead independently in at least one core Finance area.

You will work across the full implementation lifecycle, supporting requirements, solution delivery and stakeholder engagement. You will also contribute to master and transactional data migration, end-to-end testing and the successful integration of Finance processes across the wider SAP landscape.

The ideal candidate will have experience across GL, AP/AR or Asset Accounting, with additional knowledge of integration with Project Systems (PS) and Controlling (CO) highly desirable.

SAP S/4HANA FINANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Strong experience as an SAP Finance Functional Consultant
• Proven S/4HANA implementation lifecycle experience
• Ability to independently lead at least one area of GL, AP/AR or Asset Accounting
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting master and transactional data migration
• Experience with end-to-end testing within SAP implementations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of wider SAP Finance processes and integration

Desirable:

• SAP integration knowledge across PS / CO
• Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation programmes
