Finance Manager (Interim)

Salary/Benefits

• £50,000 - £60,000
• Initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to secure a permanent role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of a finance team, ensuring daily deliverables are met, along with having the responsibility for all financial reporting, cashflow forecasting and cash management of the business.

Although this role is initially for a period of 3 months, there is a long term potential with this role and it could become permanent for the right candidate.

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
• Proven experience managing financial reporting in an SME environment
• Experience leading and supporting small teams
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to get involved in day-to-day tasks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
• Available at short notice

What you'll do

• Take ultimate responsibility for all financial reporting and compliance
• Oversee and support a team of 2 junior staff members
• Manage month-end, year-end, and forecasting processes
• Assist the director with strategic financial planning and analysis
• Ensure effective internal controls and process improvements
