Our client, a growing and innovative business, is seeking a proactive Finance Manager to oversee their finance operations on a short-term basis, initially for a period of 3 months. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team and directly support the company's strategic growth, with the potential to become a permanent posting based on performance and delivery.
Salary/Benefits

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of a finance team, ensuring daily deliverables are met, along with having the responsibility for all financial reporting, cashflow forecasting and cash management of the business.
Although this role is initially for a period of 3 months, there is a long term potential with this role and it could become permanent for the right candidate.

About you
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
- Proven experience managing financial reporting in an SME environment
- Experience leading and supporting small teams
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to get involved in day-to-day tasks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
- Available at short notice
What you'll do
- Take ultimate responsibility for all financial reporting and compliance
- Oversee and support a team of 2 junior staff members
- Manage month-end, year-end, and forecasting processes
- Assist the director with strategic financial planning and analysis
- Ensure effective internal controls and process improvements
