Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead their financial operations in Nottingham . Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and charity law.
- Oversee internal controls and audit processes, working with external auditors.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to senior management and the board.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven post-qualification experience.
- Significant experience in financial management, preferably within the non-profit or charity sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
