Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and charity law.
• Oversee internal controls and audit processes, working with external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to senior management and the board.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven post-qualification experience.
• Significant experience in financial management, preferably within the non-profit or charity sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
