The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a qualified
Finance Manager
to join a well-established organisation based in Coventry on an initial
6-month contract . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a key leadership role, supporting financial operations, reporting, and business performance during a period of change and growth. The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and will play a crucial role in ensuring the finance function operates efficiently while providing valuable commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Partner with operational leaders to provide financial analysis and strategic support Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and drive efficiencies Mentor and support members of the finance team where required
About You
Fully qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA or CIMA ) Proven experience operating at Finance Manager level Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/finance systems Available to commence at short notice or immediately
