Finance Officer - Charity

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
• Prepare financial reports and support the annual audit process.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support budget management and forecasting activities.
• Respond to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role , preferably within the charity sector or a small business.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
