Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely statutory financial accounts and management reports.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
• Develop and implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing detailed analysis of variances.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and reporting within the UK market.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
• Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical abilities and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, suitable for a remote working setup.
