About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and insightful Financial Analyst to join their finance department, operating entirely remotely. This role is essential for providing financial analysis and support for the company's insurance product lines. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, delivering key insights to drive profitability and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills and a solid understanding of the insurance business model to excel in this remote-focused position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support product pricing, profitability analysis, and strategic planning.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, budget reviews, and performance metrics.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for assigned insurance products.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify financial opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and sales teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst , with a strong understanding of financial modeling and analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VBA) and financial software.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and its financial drivers is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
