About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Analyst to join their finance department. This role supports strategic decision-making by providing in-depth financial insights and forecasts. Operating under a hybrid work model, you will spend time both remotely and in our Bristol office, collaborating closely with various business units. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a keen ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business strategies, contributing to the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities and business cases.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide support.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, suitable for a hybrid team.
