About the Role
Our client, a leading technology firm based in Cambridge , is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join their strategic finance team. This role will involve in-depth financial analysis, business performance tracking, and supporting key business decisions through insightful reporting and forecasting. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand financial drivers and contribute to the company's growth strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of business performance, identifying trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Support investment appraisal, project analysis, and strategic initiatives with financial insights.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure accurate financial data and provide analytical support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting and analytical processes.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a hybrid model across Cambridge .
