Financial Controller - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Develop and manage the company's budget and forecast processes.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Analyze financial data and provide management with timely and actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in a financial control or senior accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and UK accounting regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to a hybrid working environment.
