Financial Controller - Remote

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a seasoned and proactive Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations for their growing business, operating entirely remotely. You will be instrumental in developing financial strategies, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing remote culture.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance position.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations .
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems .
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills, particularly in a remote setting .
