About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and diligent Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations and ensure the financial health of the organization. This is a critical leadership role responsible for financial strategy, risk management, and compliance. As a fully remote position, you will lead a distributed team, leveraging technology to maintain seamless operations and collaborate effectively across the business. Key Responsibilities

Direct and manage all aspects of the company's accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management and the board.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and debt, ensuring the company meets its financial obligations.
Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in a remote setting .

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification with substantial experience.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Strong experience with ERP systems and financial modeling software.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills .
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage teams and operations in a remote-first environment.
