Financial Controller

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations for their growing business in Bradford . This senior role involves managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to strategic financial planning. You will lead a team of finance professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop and manage the annual budget process and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
