About the company

A market leading business based in theBallymena area are seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to take responsibility for day-to-day oversight of their finance function, overseeing an established team and reporting to the CFO. With this business going from strength to strength, this represents an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and ambitious finance professional seeking a long-term opportunity with scope for further progression.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and analysis of management accounts
• Preparation of budgets/forecasts

• Tax compliance

• Overseeing and developing the finance team

• Managing relationships with key external stakeholders

• Leading the year-end audit process

• Driving a culture of continuous improvement across the finance function

• Act as a business partner to commercial teams

• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Open to candidates at Management Accountant/FM level seeking to step up, or experienced Financial Controllers
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
