Financial Controller

We are seeking a fully qualified Financial Controller (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) with a strong background in industrial manufacturing, waste management, or recycling environments. The ideal candidate must combine hands‑on financial control with commercial acumen—demonstrating a proven track record in cost accounting, operational budgeting, capital expenditure management, and site performance reporting.

The role combines strategic financial planning, monthly reporting, and commercial business partnering, with a focus on optimising site profitability and enforcing robust internal controls.

The successful candidate will oversee site financial operations, lead financial modelling for growth projects, manage plant budget variance analyses, and work closely with Site Managers, Operations, and Senior Executive teams to align financial targets with operational KPIs.

This role acts as the key financial lead for site operations—managing cash flow forecasts, driving margin analysis across waste streams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing a dedicated site finance team to streamline systems and reporting accuracy.

Based in Lincolnshire, embedded directly within the local operational leadership team. It can be commutable from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
