About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Financial Controller to lead their finance function in Belfast . This senior position demands strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of financial strategy, and the ability to manage all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and compliance.
- Develop and manage financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for executive management and the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings.
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance management role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
