- Manage the preparation of financial reports and budgets to support business objectives.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and manage the company's financial planning processes.
- Lead and develop the Accounting & Finance team to achieve department goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business strategies.
Profile
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in overseeing financial operations within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to provide actionable insights.
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate a finance team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
