Our client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Financial Controlle to lead a talented finance team and play a key role in driving business performance, financial control, and sustainable growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants real visibility and impact

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and developing a finance team of four
• Owning month-end, year-end, management reporting, and audit processes
• Delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Strengthening financial controls, governance, and compliance across UK and US operations
• Driving process improvements, automation, and ERP enhancements
• Managing cash flow, AP, AR, consolidations, tax, and statutory reporting activities

What we're looking for:

• 4-5 years' post-qualified experience
• Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent commercial awareness
• Experience in retail, luxury, founder-led, or PE-backed businesses would be highly advantageous

Location: London (hybrid 3 days in the office)
