As a Financial Controller in the industrial and manufacturing sector, you'll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your role will support the business by providing key financial insights and maintaining strong financial controls.

Description

• Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring all reports are accurate and delivered on time.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Monitor and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
• Prepare financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure strong performance and development.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Job Offer

• Daily rate: £300 - £350, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary contract with potential for varied assignments.
