Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic financial insights.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or controller role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
