About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Financial Planner to join their established team in Cambridge . This role involves providing comprehensive financial advice to individuals and families, helping them achieve their financial goals through tailored strategies. You will build long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions in areas such as investment planning, retirement planning, and wealth management. This position is crucial for empowering clients financially within the thriving banking and finance sector of Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial assessments of clients' current situations, goals, and risk tolerance.
• Develop personalized financial plans, including investment, retirement, insurance, and estate planning strategies.
• Advise clients on suitable investment products and strategies aligned with their objectives.
• Regularly review and update financial plans based on clients' changing circumstances and market conditions.
• Ensure all advice and recommendations comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA).
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Stay current with financial market developments, products, and relevant legislation affecting Cambridge residents.

Requirements

• Relevant professional qualification, such as CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Financial Planner or Financial Advisor.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, pensions, insurance, and taxation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry.
