Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead their finance function in Glasgow . This strategic role is responsible for driving the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, providing critical financial insights to support business strategy and performance management. You will work closely with senior leadership across departments to ensure financial plans align with corporate objectives and drive profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and long-term projections.
• Prepare insightful management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key trends and drivers.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers and support operational planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and systems.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) or MBA with a finance focus.
• Significant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) , preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial planning software.
• Strong understanding of financial strategy, business operations, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
