Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their team in Oxford . This hybrid role is responsible for leading the FP&A function, driving the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. You will provide critical financial insights, performance analysis, and business partnering support to senior leadership and various departments. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop robust financial models to support strategic decision-making, scenario analysis, and long-range planning.
• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports, highlighting key trends, variances, and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with business units to understand operational drivers and provide financial guidance and support.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the FP&A team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, managing both in-office and remote responsibilities.
