Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead their FP&A function on a fully remote basis. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, forecasting accuracy, and performance management across the organisation. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide insightful financial analysis, develop robust budgets and forecasts, and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
• Prepare comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend identification.
• Develop and enhance financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive informed decision-making.
• Manage and mentor a team of FP&A analysts.
• Oversee the production of regular financial performance reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with accounting and other departments to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and strategic financial planning.
• Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to executive levels.
• Proven ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
