About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Planning Manager to lead their financial planning function on a fully remote basis, supporting their operations that include the Reading area. This role is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives. You will manage a team of financial planners, drive efficiency, and ensure the delivery of high-quality financial strategies and advice. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of financial planners, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the development and implementation of strategic financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop and refine financial models to support scenario planning, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• Proven experience in leading and managing financial planning teams.
• Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, corporate finance principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to work effectively remotely.
