Fire & Security Engineer
Location: London & Home Counties
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: Between £35,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Call-Out + Pension
We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Service & Small Works Install Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys a varied role covering installation, servicing, maintenance and reactive works across commercial and high-end residential properties.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
Installation, testing and commissioning of fire alarm systems
Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Fault finding and reactive call-outs
Small works and system upgrades
Maintaining accurate service records and documentation, Providing a professional service to customers at all times
Work is primarily based throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties. We aim to schedule engineers' work in advance wherever possible, although emergency call-outs may occasionally require changes to planned work.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience working with fire alarm systems
Experience installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
Fire alarm installation
Fire alarm maintenance
Security systems experience (beneficial but not essential)
Preferred Knowledge of Manufacturers
Apollo
Honeywell Fire
Advanced MX Range
TYCO
