Fire Alarm Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician / Fire Alarm Engineer to join a growing team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with emergency lighting installation, testing and maintenance, along with a good understanding of BS 5266-1 requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, testing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems
• Carrying out inspection and testing in line with BS 5266-1
• Fault finding and rectification of emergency lighting systems
• Working on fire alarm systems, including installation and testing
• Completing test sheets, reports and relevant documentation
• Working across commercial and industrial sites
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in BS 5266-1
• Strong experience with emergency lighting installation and testing
• Electrical qualification / background, Gold ECS card or Equivilant
• Experience working with fire alarm systems
• Good understanding of current electrical and fire safety standards
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
