Fire and Security Engineer

Join a growing team working across social housing and commercial sites , delivering high-quality service on a range of systems including fire alarms, access control, door entry, and security systems .

This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same—perfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and working independently.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance (PPM)
• Fault-finding and fixing fire alarms, access control & door entry systems
• Completing installations, inspections, and system testing
• Logging jobs accurately using CASH and providing clear reports
• Supporting compliance with BS5839 and health & safety standards
• Participating in on‑call rota and occasional overtime
• Delivering excellent service across multiple client sites

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years’ experience in Fire & Security engineering
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on systems such as:
• Good understanding of BS5839 standards
• Experience with PPM, emergency lighting, and system inspections
• Full UK driving licence
• Smoke control / AOV systems experience
• Fire extinguisher servicing
• Experience using CASH or similar systems
