Are you an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager looking for your next career move?
We're working with an established and growing business looking to appoint an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of commercial projects across London and the South East.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from £50,000 to £500,000, manage customer relationships and deliver projects safely, professionally, on time and profitably.
The Role
- Managing multiple commercial fire and security projects from £50k-£500k
- Full project lifecycle management from handover through to completion
- Managing project budgets, costs, variations, margins and commercial performance
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants and key stakeholders
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
- Programme, resource and risk management
- Ensuring projects are delivered to specification, programme and budget
- Identifying and maximising variations and additional commercial opportunities
- Managing customer accounts and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Producing project reports, forecasts and commercial updates
- Ensuring all relevant health & safety, quality and compliance requirements are met
About You
We're looking for a proven Fire & Security Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering commercial projects.
- Solid experience within the fire and security industry
- Proven Project Management experience across commercial projects
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills
- Experience managing projects valued between £50k and £500k
- Excellent customer-facing and account management skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and project teams
- Strong understanding of project programmes, costs, variations and margins
- Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills
- The confidence to take ownership and make commercial decisions
- A professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach
This role would suit someone who is commercially driven, customer focused and capable of running projects as a true end-to-end business operation — not simply administering projects.
