Our client is seeking a diligent Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join their team, covering Wolverhampton, West Midlands . This role is essential for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced fire detection and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control. You will ensure the highest standards of system integrity and client safety. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and committed to providing reliable solutions, working independently across various client sites in and around Wolverhampton .
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control solutions.
- Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on security and fire detection equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, providing timely and effective repairs.
- Ensure all installations and works comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on system operation.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including test results and service reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Systems Engineer, with a background in Installation & Maintenance .
- Knowledge of various fire alarm panels, CCTV systems, and access control hardware.
- Proficiency in wiring, fault-finding, and testing procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are vital for this role in Wolverhampton .
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA, NSI certification) and a valid UK driving license are required.
