Job Description
Our client is a well-established specialist passive fire protection contractor that has secured a significant pipeline of fire damper inspection and remedial works across multiple Category A prisons throughout the Midlands and North.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Damper Engineer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
The Role
* Carry out fire damper inspections and testing in accordance with current industry standards.
* Complete remedial works, including repairs and replacements where required.
* Produce accurate inspection reports and photographic records.
* Ensure all works are completed safely and to the highest quality standards.
* Travel between prison sites across the Midlands and North.
Requirements
* CPC Clearance is essential (applications without current CPC Clearance cannot be considered).
* Previous experience testing and remediating fire dampers.
* Good understanding of passive fire protection and fire damper compliance.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation.
Package
* £33,000 basic salary.
* Door-to-door travel paid (equating to approximately £36,000+ earnings).
* Company vehicle.
* Fuel card.
* Tools and equipment provided.
* Company pension.
* Annual leave.
* Long-term, secure workload across an excellent portfolio of prison projects.
