About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Fitness Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of their state-of-the-art facility in Milton Keynes . This leadership role requires a passion for health and fitness, combined with strong management and customer service skills. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive and motivating environment for members and staff, driving membership sales, and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing budgets, leading a team, and fostering a strong community within the fitness centre. This is a hands-on role central to the success of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of fitness centre operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training.
• Drive membership sales and retention through effective strategies and exceptional customer service.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of fitness equipment and facility cleanliness.
• Develop and implement fitness programs, classes, and special events to enhance member experience.
• Manage operational budgets, control expenses, and ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within the fitness industry is essential.
• Strong understanding of fitness operations, sales, and marketing principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive revenue growth.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• A genuine passion for health, fitness, and motivating others.
