Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the fitness centre, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members.
• Lead, recruit, train, and motivate a team of fitness instructors, personal trainers, and reception staff.
• Develop and implement engaging fitness programs, classes, and personal training packages to meet member needs and drive revenue.
• Oversee membership sales, retention strategies, and achieve departmental revenue targets.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure all equipment is well-maintained and operational.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and report on key performance indicators to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the fitness industry.
• Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., CIMSPA).
• Strong understanding of fitness principles, exercise science, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with membership sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets and operational plans.
