Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and certified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer to join their thriving health club in Cardiff . You will be responsible for providing exceptional fitness guidance and personalised training programmes to members, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. This role requires a passion for fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and motivating fitness environment for our members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalised training programmes tailored to individual member goals and needs.
• Deliver engaging and effective one-to-one and group personal training sessions.
• Provide guidance on proper exercise technique, nutrition, and lifestyle choices to support member progress.
• Maintain a safe and clean fitness environment, ensuring all equipment is used correctly and maintained.
• Promote fitness services and programmes within the club, actively seeking to acquire new personal training clients.
• Continuously update knowledge of fitness trends, techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Recognised Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification minimum; Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in delivering personal training sessions and developing fitness plans.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Strong sales and motivational skills to attract and retain personal training clients.
• Current First Aid certification.
• A genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
