Fitness Instructor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join their team at a leading sports facility in Coventry . You will be responsible for motivating members, delivering engaging fitness classes, and providing personalized training programmes to help clients achieve their health and fitness goals. This role requires a passion for fitness, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for all members. You will play a key role in enhancing the member experience and contributing to the vibrant fitness community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and design tailored exercise programmes for individual clients.
• Deliver high-energy group fitness classes, adapting routines to suit various fitness levels.
• Provide guidance and support to members on proper exercise technique and equipment usage.
• Promote gym memberships, personal training packages, and other centre services.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the gym and class studios.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and techniques to continuously improve service delivery.

Requirements

• Recognized Fitness Instructor qualification (e.g., Level 2 Gym Instructor).
• Certification in Group Fitness instruction is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a positive attitude.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Experience in a similar role within a gym or leisure centre is preferred.
