Fitness Instructor

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join their dynamic team in Coventry . This hybrid role involves delivering engaging fitness classes and providing personalized training sessions to a diverse clientele. You will be responsible for creating a motivating and safe environment for members to achieve their health and fitness goals. The successful candidate will be passionate about fitness, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be adept at balancing in-person instruction with remote client support and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group fitness sessions, tailoring programmes to individual needs and goals.
• Develop and implement safe and effective exercise programmes, ensuring proper technique and injury prevention.
• Monitor client progress, provide ongoing feedback, and adapt training plans as needed.
• Maintain fitness equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members.
• Provide virtual fitness consultations and support to clients remotely.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and methodologies to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

• Recognised fitness instructor qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3).
• Previous experience in delivering group fitness classes and personal training.
• Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.
• Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with online training platforms and virtual coaching is advantageous.
