About the Role

Our client, a leading health and fitness centre in Coventry , is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Fitness Manager to lead their dedicated fitness team. This role is crucial in developing and delivering high-quality fitness programs, ensuring member satisfaction, and driving the overall success of the fitness department. You will be responsible for managing fitness staff, optimising class schedules, and maintaining state-of-the-art equipment, all while fostering a positive and motivating environment for members seeking to achieve their health goals. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate the fitness instructor and personal training team, including scheduling and performance reviews.
• Design and implement innovative fitness programs, group exercise classes, and personal training packages.
• Ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene within the fitness facilities and equipment.
• Conduct fitness assessments and provide personalized training plans to members.
• Drive membership sales and retention through exceptional service and engagement strategies.
• Monitor fitness trends and introduce new services to enhance member experience and club revenue.

Requirements

• Recognized fitness certification (e.g., REPs Level 3 or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a fitness management or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated success in managing fitness staff and program development.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, training methodologies, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with fitness management software and sales tracking.
