Fixed Wire Testing Engineer Oxfordshire / Berkshire region £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year bonus Job summary: · The Fixed Wire Testing Engineer uses their skills and experienced to ensures the safety and compliance of electrical systems and equipment. · They perform testing procedures as detailed in BS7671 as well as taking the lead when working with other engineers Role Requirements Have at least 2 years testing experience in Commercial and Industrial environments Spend the required 40 hours per week on site · Qualified in C&G 2391 or 2394/95 · AM2 Qualified · Holds Level 3 C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations · Qualified in C&G 2382, 18th Edition · Possesses a full, valid driving license · A willingness to work flexible hours and travel to site The role: · Submit reports (EICR, Observations, Site Audit Pro) to the required standard · Complete Thermal Image Reports · Complete Emergency Light testing and submit reports · Be available to works a reasonable amount of weekends throughout the year · Be available to work outside of core business hours as required by the Company · Organise and liaise with site contacts to ensure works are completed as specified · Works to be completed within the required time and budget · Assist with the training and onboard of new engineers when joining the company · Assist with training and development of Trainee engineers and updating required training logs · Complete all Health and Safety training by the required due dates · Assist the office with van swaps and vehicle servicing appointments · Complete any other tasks (Remedial Works etc) as required by the Company What's on offer: · Competitive Salary - benchmarked against market leaders · Performance Bonus Scheme - earn extra pay on top of your salary · Modern Company Van - Fully equipped van, with fuel card and vehicle management service · Uniforms - A comfortable and high-quality uniform · Staying Away allowance · Training & upskilling - We provide full training and resources to help you develop your skills. · Employee Discount Scheme - access to a range of savings in your everyday life41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
