Fleet Maintenance Supervisor - Automotive

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations for their diverse automotive fleet in Glasgow . Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of automotive mechanics and technicians.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for the entire fleet.
• Ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, optimizing stock levels and controlling costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections for each vehicle.

• Liaise with external service providers and suppliers as needed for specialized repairs or parts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within an automotive maintenance environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, including diagnostics and repair.

• Experience in managing fleet maintenance schedules and budgets.
