FLT Counterbalance Driver

Manpower UK seeks a FLT Counterbalance Driver for a temporary role in Gainsborough, with the site based near Doncaster (DN10 6). Pay ranges from £15.02 to £17.75 per hour, including a £2.73 unsociable premium for shifts after 6pm. Two morning slots run Monday to Friday, 6am-3.30pm, alongside two afternoon positions from 11.30am-8.30pm. Duties involve offloading and checking inbound and outbound goods, scanning items, and placing stock in designated warehouse locations. Applicants need a valid counterbalance licence and prior experience. This ongoing assignment suits those comfortable with physical work and precise stock handling.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. Key Responsibilities

• Offload and check all inbound/outbound goods, including scanning and locating items in designated warehouse locations.
• Sequence goods into delivery routes.
• Verify goods against dispatch documentation, ensuring product codes and quantities are correct.
• Load goods and pallets onto delivery vehicles (Rigids/Artics).
• Assist with any other reasonable requests from management.

Requirements

• Flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Awareness of health and safety practices in the workplace.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Valid Forklift Truck licence - preferably ITSAR or RTITB
