FLT Counterbalance Driver - Skelmersdale
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.00 per hour , Monday to Friday working hours, ongoing work, weekly pay, immediate starts and genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a busy warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Counterbalance Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Forklift Truck Driver .

- 11:00am - 7:00pm

Day-to-Day Duties
As an FLT Counterbalance Driver , your duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Loading and unloading goods
- Receiving and booking goods into the warehouse
- Checking incoming and outgoing stock for quantity and visual quality
- Organising stock ready for dispatch
- Moving stock to the correct warehouse locations
- Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required
Essential Skills
To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Driver , you will need:
- A valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance Truck licence
- In-house licences will also be considered for the right candidates
- Previous double decker loading experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good spatial awareness
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working as an FLT Counterbalance Driver within a warehouse environment
Training Provided
- FLT assessment prior to starting work
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
