FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver - Worcester

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Worcester . This is an excellent opportunity offering long-term ongoing work, weekly pay, overtime opportunities and genuine opportunities for progression within a growing business.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as a Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Counterbalance Truck Driver .

Rates of Pay:

• £13.50 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Overtime available

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekly shifts:
• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver , you will work:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking orders and moving stock around the warehouse
• Receiving, checking and booking in incoming deliveries
• Storing pallets safely within the warehouse
• Carrying out daily FLT safety checks and reporting any defects
• Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Organising stock ready for dispatch
• Supporting general warehouse duties when requiredFollowing all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver , you will need:

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Good communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable and punctual
• A flexible approach to work
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Training:

• Full paid site induction provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
